1.1 About Us

This website is hosted on the Squarespace platform and operated by Meadow and Hide, a business registered in Ireland. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Meadow and Hide.

1.2 Platform Notice (Squarespace)

Our online store is hosted by Squarespace Inc. They provide us with the e‑commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your data may be stored through Squarespace’s data storage, databases, and general Squarespace applications. Squarespace stores your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

1.3 Products

All products sold on this website are handmade leather items. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products and the use of natural materials, each item is unique.

We make every effort to display product images and descriptions as accurately as possible. However, colours, textures, and details may appear differently depending on your screen settings and device.

1.4 Natural Materials Disclaimer

Leather and linen are natural materials. As such, variations in colour, grain, texture, and finish are normal and should not be considered defects. Natural markings such as scars, wrinkles, veins, or slight tonal variations may be present and are part of the character and authenticity of leather and linen goods.

1.5 Pricing

All prices are listed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.

1.6 Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order through our Squarespace website, you will receive an automated order confirmation email. This does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods and confirm dispatch by email. We will endeavour to have items dispatched within five working days, though this may take longer during busy times or holiday periods. If you need something quickly, please do reach out to us and we will try to accommodate you.

1.7 Payments

Payments are processed securely through Squarespace’s approved payment providers. We do not store or have access to your full payment card details.

1.8 Availability

As our products are handmade, stock levels may be limited. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if a product is unavailable, in which case a full refund will be issued.

1.9 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or the purchase of our products.

1.10 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
